Trump’s tantrum-tour comes as part of his usual greatest hits album: blame someone else, rewrite history, and throw in a weird anecdote about being loved by “the generals.” This week’s meltdown included allegations that Zelenskyy was ungrateful, disrespectful, and didn’t follow his timeline.

The White House, meanwhile, quietly sighed in several languages and moved on. Let’s be clear: there was no confirmed deal, no formal offer, and no magical Mar-a-Lago summit where peace was going to bloom over shrimp cocktails.
